Water Resources Engineer

White Sands Water Engineers, Inc. (WSWE) is a small water resource engineering consulting company located in Golden, Colorado that specializes in water rights and water resource planning and management.

Position Overview

WSWE is currently seeking a water resource engineer, hydrologist, or hydrogeologist to join our team. This opportunity is open to candidates with 3 or more years of experience in water resource engineering, hydrology and / or hydrogeology. Candidates should have experience in Colorado water law and water rights, consumptive use analyses, hydrology and / or groundwater engineering. Must be professionally licensed or have the ability to obtain a license. Position will be determined based on candidate experience level and qualifications.

Educational Requirements

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, water resource engineering, environmental engineering, watershed science, hydrology, hydrogeology or a similar engineering field from an accredited school.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple water resources projects, including projects within Colorado.
• Strong communication, spreadsheet, and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with clients and staff.

Compensation

The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 annually and may vary depending on education, skills and experience.
