Clark Electric is seeking to hire an entry level Junior Electrical Estimator. We are in need of a hard-working individual who is self-motivated and can work within our preconstruction department to assist in the process of providing accurate and efficient cost estimates for both commercial and residential projects.

Responsibilities :

Activities include, but not limited to :

• Supports and works with the Electrical Estimator
• Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
• Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
• Prepares and sends specifications and BOMs to vendors and subcontractors for quotes
• Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements
• Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
• Prepare estimates on multiple projects concurrently
• Understand scope of work to bid
• Use software for initial take offs, data analysis, forecasting and budgeting
• Assists with the preparation of special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
• Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data
• Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors
• Participates in the preparation of construction schedule
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
