Our Strategy & Investment team plays a vital role in shaping our Te Whatu Ora strategies for Data and Digital. We work closely with our partners to create and maintain our strategy and roadmaps, ensuring that our priorities are met, and the vision comes to life.

Our focus is on providing leadership, managing services, and overseeing architecture to align with our strategic goals. Additionally, we're excited to lead Strategic Partnership Management. This involves fostering partnerships with industry providers, managing relationships with national partners like Microsoft, AWS, and Spark, and handling Data and Digital Contract Management alongside Procurement. Our team develops and maintains frameworks, agreements, and roadmaps to keep everything running smoothly.

Our Value & Assurance Consultants are the expert advisors who bring along their strong blend of subject knowledge, excellent writing abilities, and fantastic relationship skills to the table. They're the driving force behind our independent assurance oversight activities and ensure that every assurance activity related to Data & Digital investments is not just a plan, but a well-thought-out, effective strategy. This strategy gives us the confidence that we're managing risks well and uncovering opportunities for growth.

But that's not all! Our Value & Assurance Consultants also take the lead in making sure that assurance activities are seamlessly coordinated and carried out across Portfolios, Programmes, Products, and Projects. Why? Well, to assure our Boards, Committees, and Stakeholders that we're not just effective, but we're also perfectly aligned with policies, practices, and all the necessary regulations. Our Value & Assurance Consultants play a key role in making sure that the changes and improvements resulting from assurance activities actually happen. Especially when it comes to the broader Data and Digital landscape – they're the champions of delivering value through change.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

• Needs to draw on extensive specialised work experience typically supported with professional qualifications –– minimum 10 years
• Experience in applying critical thinking and using sound judgement to develop options and provide advice,
• Leadership experience, including designing and managing a portfolio of work, and resources.
• A preference for experience in working across multi-disciplinary teams.
