Healthcare Setting : Acute Care – MedSurg Burn Center

Job Type : Travel Registered Nurse Contract

Start Date : December 1, 2025

End Date : March 2, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12 Hour Nights

Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570 - $1680

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : 1 : 3 (majority), max 1 : 4

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Mississippi or compact state; willing to wait for license if needed)

Minimum 1 year of recent MedSurg or Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred)

Burn unit nursing experience preferred but not required

Previous travel nurse experience is a plus

Current certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS (AHA or APEX)

Proficiency with EPIC EMR charting required

Flu vaccine required (medical exemption accepted with documentation)

Must complete fingerprinting prior to start date

Burn Unit RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to burn patients in a MedSurg environment

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using EPIC EMR

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Administer medications, treatments, and perform wound care as prescribed

Educate patients and families about treatment plans and recovery processes

Maintain a safe, supportive, and compliant environment for patients and staff

Flexibility to cover at least one holiday during the contract period
