Candidates must be aware of the Pass / Fail EKG exam requirement. The patient population will primarily consist of medical-surgical cases. The schedule requires working three 12-hour shifts, two weekends per month. Candidates must work two out of four holidays. Floating may be required to other facilities if needed. The focus will include observation patients and respiratory conditions. It involves care for general medical-surgical diagnoses, palliative care, and hospice patients. Knowledge in handling diabetic patients and surgical observation is required. Candidates must have experience with telemetry monitoring and care. Preferred experience includes charge nursing responsibilities. Charting experience in Epic is essential. Candidates must be comfortable with various nursing skills, including IV management. Compliance requires a full file by the stated deadline. Proper education verification through a third party is required. No open cases on background checks will be accepted. Local candidates are not accepted. Travelers are subject to float as needed.
