Position Overview :
This position will work as part of a team to provide superior service and stakeholder satisfaction through responsibility for the safe and efficient operation and preservation of equipment utilized for the purpose of tasks related to Glycol Recovery Vehicles and processing, while ensuring the well-being of self and all internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to) :
Assign duties and monitor performance of Equipment Operators to ensure work is completed according to standard operating procedures;Ensure optimum equipment performance through regular equipment inspections;Ensure full communication with next shift regarding current state of processing equipment;Professionally operate and maintain the company’s Recovery and Processing Equipment including the Glycol Concentrator;Assist in the training of all operators in the proper Recovery and Processing Equipment operational procedures and inform the site supervisor immediately of any deficiencies in Recovery and Processing Equipment operation, daily inspections and daily paperwork submitted by all operators;Required Skills and Experience :
Must be at least 18 years old;Successful completion of all classroom and on-the-job training;Previous experience overseeing the work of others;Basic knowledge of aircraft and how they perform;Ability to read, write, speak and communicate effectively in English;Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task;Ability to interpret documents including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals;Ability to safely operate a motorized vehicle in inclement weather;General mechanical competence and ability to effectively use hand tools;Ability to remain calm and perform under pressure and within fixed time constraints;A valid driver’s license is required for this position.Work Environment :
There will be a combination of working in an indoor office working environment and working outside in different weather conditions i.e. frequent exposure to prevalent weather conditions, etc.Physical Demands :
This position involves sitting and standing for extended periods of time as well as bending, kneeling, climbing, using hands to control tools and feel objects, reaching with hands and arms;May be necessary to work at heights up to 40 feet;The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
