About The Position

Job Title : Surgical Technologist

Experience : Minimum of two years of full-time equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist.

License : High School / GED and one of the following : Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program, Completion of a Military Training Program as an Operating Room Specialist, Completion of an approved Apprentice II Program, or ten or more years of experience as a Surgical Tech.

Certifications : Required - American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider or an approved equivalent.

Must-Have :

• Minimum of two years of full-time equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Required education as specified above.
• Required certification as specified above.

Description :

As a member of the healthcare team, the Surgical Technologist collaborates with the surgical team to provide care for patients, ensuring that the goals of the patients are met and the mission of the organization is carried out.

Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

This role involves performing procedures in a variety of specialties, requiring a broad knowledge and skill set.

The Surgical Technologist demonstrates a higher level of collaboration with peers in making decisions related to surgical patient care.
