Description :

SSSU / PACU nursing care duties include floating to the entire outpatient services area.

Responsibilities encompass day surgery, endoscopy lab, post anesthesia care unit, pre-operative clinic, and conscious sedation for special procedures as needed.

Utilize skills in nursing assessment to include peri-operative education and care.

Recognize post anesthesia and post-operative complications.

The position requires flexibility to engage in pre / post-surgical and infusion tasks when possible.
