Minimum Education : High School Diploma or GED Required
Diploma Program Post High School Vocational / Specialized Training (Professional Medical, Administrative or Business School) : Preferred
Work Experience : Less than 1 year 3 - 6 months front desk or physician office experience Required
Courses and Training : Customer Service and Safety Reporting Training within 90 days Required and Introduction to Medical terminology within 180 days Required and Insurance and Compliance Training within 1 year Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of medical office operations to include reception, billing and insurance and general office skills. Computer skills.
