A growing Seattle law office is seeking a  Litigation Attorney (4873)  to join its expanding team. The firm is open to hiring both a junior-level associate (3+ years) and a more senior attorney (7–10 years). These roles involve advising insurer clients on coverage matters and handling related litigation. The ideal candidates will bring experience in insurance defense, insurance coverage, or general litigation, and a strong interest in developing expertise in this specialized area.

Key Responsibilities :

Advise insurer clients on coverage issues, including policy interpretation and claim analysis

Manage litigation matters, primarily in federal court, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and depositions

Support and participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution

Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex coverage matters

Opportunity to second-chair trials, though trial work is infrequent

Qualifications :

Juris Doctor and active Washington State Bar license required (additional licenses in OR, CA, or ID a plus)

Minimum 3 years of litigation experience; 7–10 years preferred for senior role

Background in insurance defense, coverage, or general litigation

Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

Ability to manage cases independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
