Microbiologist

Overview :

We're seeking a motivated individual to join our Quality Control Microbiology team. In this role, you'll contribute to maintaining product quality and safety by performing a range of microbiological tests in support of manufacturing and clinical operations. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in a regulated lab setting while working with an experienced and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform microbiological assays on in-process and finished product samples following established laboratory procedures.

Support daily laboratory operations, including media preparation, equipment maintenance, and documentation.

Conduct growth promotion testing and other routine quality control activities.

Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence to regulatory and safety requirements.

Maintain an organized, clean, and compliant work area.

Participate in method verification and validation activities for new and existing products.

Demonstrate initiative in learning new techniques and achieving technical proficiency.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.

1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience; prior exposure to GMP or regulated environments preferred.

Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow written procedures.

Excellent time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
