Position Summary

Located in southeast Missouri, Bloomfield is a small town with rich history, and we are proud to call it home to one of our litter factories since 1976. Our factory in Bloomfield was the first to produce Lightweight litter, a product that weighs half the amount of conventional litter, revolutionizing the pet care industry. An innovative feature of this factory is an overhead bridge that allows full pallets of finished products to be conveyed to the distribution center just north of the factory. This innovation, along with others, helped Nestlé Purina earn the Malcolm Baldrige Award, the highest level of national recognition for performance excellence in the U.S. Our factory also works to care for the environment, conserving water, investing in renewable electricity, and maintaining zero waste for disposal. In 2020, the Bloomfield facility underwent a 110,000-square-foot expansion in processing and packaging, supported by a $115 million investment to meet growing demand from cat owners. With short commutes to St. Louis, Kansas City, and the Lake of the Ozarks, we enjoy day trips to nearby attractions and take pride in the community that Bloomfield offers.

Responsibilities

• As a Manufacturing Excellence Specialist, manage performance data, processes, and routines. Assist with training, coaching, and assessing the data health of the facility and support continuous improvement activities.
• Use data to identify opportunities to improve facility performance and processes; drive a culture of standards and industrial performance responsibilities.
• Gather data and analyze reports, including stoppage analysis and other production line data.
• Manage industrial performance activities in the facility, including Nestlé Manufacturing Performance Metrics.
• Collaborate across value streams and provide coaching to ensure overall data health within the facility.
• Provide strong data visualization support to drive Manufacturing Excellence activities and communicate across teams effectively.
• Implement and promote Focused Improvement methodologies, lead and support Focused Improvement projects, and sponsor IWGs within the facility.

Compensation and Benefits

The approximate pay range for this position is $66,000 - $90,000. This range is a good faith estimate at the time of posting; final compensation varies based on background, knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
