Functional Financial Management Subject Matter Expert (Sme)

The Functional Financial Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides high-level advisory and analytical support for financial management support services. The Functional Financial Management SME brings deep domain knowledge and experience in financial processes, Oracle system expertise, resource planning, and strategic financial management. This position will support specific task orders requiring expert insight and is expected to engage directly with senior government stakeholders and integrated project teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in Functional Financial Management, including financial management, technical staff and expertise to support missions related to the development, deployment, operations, and sustainment of the DoD or other federal agency program applications and related business processes.
• Lead or support the development of policy recommendations, operational strategies, and implementation plans.
• Conduct research and analysis to inform leadership decisions.
• Support the development of briefings, reports, and written products.
• Advise government clients on best practices, program risks, and operational impacts.
• Participate in working groups and integrated product teams (IPTs).
• Provide peer review and quality assurance for technical deliverables.

Qualifications

Education and Experience :

Clearance Requirements : Active Secret clearance required; TS / SCI preferred or required based on task order.

Location : Varies by task order. May include on-site at the Pentagon, Wright-Patterson AFB, or other federal sites. Remote work is possible based on client needs and approval.
