Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School in Miami Lakes, Florida has an opening for a Preschool Teacher Aide for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. The Preschool Teacher Aide works as part of a teaching team, assists the classroom teacher in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment, and communicates effectively with children, parents, co-workers, and administration. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma required.
• Department of Children and Family (DCF) 45-hour training as well as DCF level 2 background screening.
• Minimum one year of experience.
• VPK Requirements for those who want to work in that group.
• CPR First-Aid certification.
• Attends meetings and professional developments as required.
• Creates a warm, welcoming environment for students and families.
• Strong oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice. Good spelling and grammar required.
• Proficiency in computer skills and email functions.
• Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
