JOB PURPOSE
This position is responsible for assisting the Compliance Lead in making sure all serialized items are properly received and handled in inventory, building work orders, and acquisitions, transfers, and dispositions in both company and ATF logbooks, to and from proper locations. Responsible for building all serialized work orders. The Compliance Specialist may at times provide additional support to positions in need. The Compliance Specialist will report any issues or discrepancies to their lead or supervisor, to be handled immediately.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Issue and receipt lowers for production based on the corresponding work orders.
- Maintain manufacturing A&D Log which includes acquiring and disposing of firearms.
- Perform cycle counts on serial numbers to assist in preparing for audits and to maintain the inventory accurately.
- Ensure that serials from outside vendors are received accurately.
- Contact vendors and / or buyers as necessary to verify accurate receiving.
- Tag and sort serialized items using Zebra and Dymo printers verifying accurate recording and output.
- Communicate with anodizing department as needed regarding processing of serialized items.
- Responsible for emptying out finished work orders and completed lowers from cages to keep space for the lower crew to continue production.
- Assist in maintaining control over all serialized items that our FFL is accountable for.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalentValid South Carolina Driver’s LicenseKnowledge and Skills
Basic knowledge of firearmsUnderstand the importance of serialized firearms and the severity of mishandling these items.Strong computer skills with everyday experience working with Microsoft products.Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skillsNeeds minimal supervision to accomplish tasks.Must be motivated, self-directed, and enthusiastic.Must possess the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.Knowledge of AR, AK, and Glock firearm platformsBasic knowledge of PSA AR and AK related products, such as MAGPUL colors and furniture variationsExperience with serialized itemsATF compliance experience preferred.PSA Compliance experience preferred.Soft Skills

Scheduled shifts are Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be optional or mandatory. All work is performed in an operational warehouse environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Team members are constantly standing, walking, carrying, twisting, bending, seeing, stooping, balancing, hearing, as well as handing paperwork and heavy PC computer usage. Team members will be lifting objects weighing from less than 20 pounds to 60 pounds.
