A premier importer, manufacturer, and distributor of specialty confections, food, and promotional products is seeking a General Machinery / Manufacturing / Mechanic f or our Hicksville, NY location.

Must come out of the Manufacturing Industry

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively and implement timely solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize machinery performance and enhance production capability
• Hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing industrial equipment.
• Problem-solving and maintaining machinery.
• Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing industrial / manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with printers, conveyors, packaging, and confectionery machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure all repairs and maintenance are performed to the highest standards, maintaining equipment integrity.
• Detailed accuracy to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues swiftly to minimize downtime.
• Fluent or conversational Spanish (a plus)
