Job descriptionDeliver direct wound care services to patients, primarily in long-term care facilities and residential settings Utilize advanced wound care modalities, including UltraMist Wands and application of skin grafts (fish skin, placenta, lab-grown) Travel to patient residences and long-term care sites to provide clinical wound care Collaborate with facility staff to ensure continuity and quality of wound care Maintain accurate documentation in the WoundExpert EMR system Apply evidence-based practices and adhere to clinical protocols Must have active Nurse Practitioner license in Minnesota Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing (WOCN) certification required Prior hands-on wound care experience is essential Experience with surgical PAs and podiatry is preferred Experience with UltraMist Wands and various skin grafting techniques highly desired Providers with advanced wound care backgrounds will be prioritized Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Whether you need long term coverage for your practice, short term vacation coverage, or anything in between – you can trust Barton Associates to provide the flexible staffing solutions your organization needs to thrive. About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for a 72-day locum tenens assignment in Minnesota, starting Oct 27, 2025. This flexible role offers hands-on wound care in long-term care settings, with day shifts scheduled Monday through Friday, any 3 days per week. Advanced wound care skills and familiarity with UltraMist Wands and various skin graft techniques are essential for this opportunity.
