Job Description
- Experience Required : 1 to 3 years with at least 1 year of pharmacy experience, including a minimum of 3 months licensed work as a Pharmacist.
- Experience Desired : Previous supervisory experience is highly preferred.
- Education Required : Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
- Certification or Licensing Required : Pharmacy License, Immunization Certification, Valid CPR Certification, NPI.
- Lifting Requirement : Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee and actively contribute to ensure the safe and efficient dispensing of all patient orders by adhering to quality assurance policies and procedures.Exemplify outstanding patient care by engaging with patients, addressing their needs, and providing counseling and problem-solving support.Perform all essential pharmacist duties, including interpreting, filling, and refilling prescriptions, reviewing clinical aspects, and maintaining up-to-date patient profiles.Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies and laws through effective leadership and coaching.Create an optimal team and patient experience through strategic scheduling and efficient resource allocation.Manage inventory effectively by overseeing reports, conducting physical counts, and ensuring proper medication storage and supply management to meet patient needs.Collaborate with pharmacy and supermarket leaders to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.Supervise and mentor staff through training, performance recognition, and empowerment initiatives to enhance team engagement and service quality.Maintain a clean and sterile pharmacy environment in compliance with all regulatory requirements.Review service and business metrics and develop action plans for improvement.Complete all required audits and documentation promptly and accurately.Provide supportive supervision and constructive feedback to team members following best practices.Foster a positive work environment that motivates and inspires staff.Administer immunizations and engage in clinical services to optimize patient and organizational outcomes.Support the training of new team members and facilitate the implementation of company initiatives.Stay current with new medications, therapies, and industry advancements.Maintain professional development and advocate for advancements within the pharmacy profession.Build and nurture professional relationships with healthcare partners, including physicians and industry representatives.Perform Pharmacy Technician duties as required.About Us
