Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Pay Range : 28 to 30 per hour

Schedule : Monday through Friday, 30 to 35 hours per week

No weekends

About the Taylor Community

The Taylor Community includes approximately 400 residents across long term care, assisted living, and independent living. The campus includes 40 long term care beds, 100 assisted living beds, and 250 to 275 independent living residences.

There are two licensed buildings offering assisted living, a combined assisted living and long term care unit, and an assisted living dementia care unit.

Independent Living includes private homes, cottages, and condo style buildings that also contain a fitness center and indoor pool.

Residents participate in daily wellness programs, fitness activities, sports tournaments, and off site trips. The Activity Department is fully staffed and works closely with Rehab Services to support group classes, mobility programs, and community engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high quality physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Deliver therapy services across long term care, assisted living, and independent living settings.

Accurately document all treatment sessions following regulatory and facility standards.

Collaborate closely with nursing teams, activities staff, and wellness coordinators to support resident outcomes.

Assist with care planning and progress tracking focused on mobility, safety, and functional independence.

Participate in meetings, wellness activities, and community based rehab initiatives.

Qualifications

Active or eligible New Hampshire Physical Therapist Assistant license.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Commitment to delivering high quality therapy care in a senior living environment.

Ability to adapt to varying caseload needs across different levels of care.
