Delivery Driver

Location : Charlotte Metro Area (Pick-Up Sites : The Arboretum, Lowe's Matthews, and Northcross Shopping Center in Huntersville, NC)

Contract Duration : 11+ month contract to start

Schedule : 40 hours per week | Must be available for shifts between 8 AM – 8 PM, including weekends and holidays as needed

Work Environment : Onsite | Outdoor role involving driving between designated locations

Vehicle Requirement : Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable personal vehicle for order pickups and deliveries

About the Role

Swoon is hiring for our client in the technology and innovation space, supporting next-generation autonomous delivery operations. The Labs Operations D2 associate plays a critical role in enabling drone-based delivery by ensuring all orders are picked up, prepared, and loaded safely and efficiently. You'll work in a dynamic environment that combines logistics, operations, and customer interaction—helping shape the future of delivery.

Responsibilities

• Pick up customer orders from merchant partners (typically 1–2 per hour) within a one-mile radius of the drone launch sites
• Load drones with care, following safety and accuracy protocols
• Communicate with customers and merchants in a friendly, professional manner—acting as a brand ambassador for the program
• Provide detailed feedback and observations to cross-functional teams to improve operations and efficiency
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all designated launch locations
• Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute ideas to enhance reliability and customer satisfaction
