A Direct Support Professional (Also known as DSP, Residential Assistant, Caregiver, Home Health Aide, CNA) is responsible for :
Implement Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) and therapeutic interventionsMonitor and document behavioral incidents and progressParticipate in crisis intervention and de-escalation as neededLight housework : cooking, meal prep, cleaningMaintenance of personal care / hygiene routines : feeding, medication administration, bathing, showering, toiletingProviding transportation to and from doctor's appointments, outside activities and excursionsRequirements / Qualifications :
