About The Position

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS)

Description :

Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally.

Demonstrates competency through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Upholds the standards of professional performance, including ethical practice and culturally congruent practice.

Communicates and collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.

Acts as a patient / family advocate.

Performs point of care testing as required.

Demonstrates high standards of moral, ethical, and culturally sensitive behavior.

Formulates decisions based on ethical principles, guiding practice appropriately.

Advocates for the privacy and confidentiality of patient information.

Assesses overall patient and family needs and analyzes assessment data to identify potential issues.

Identifies expected outcomes and develops a coordinated interprofessional plan of care.

Evaluates patient and family educational needs and employs appropriate teaching strategies.

Initiates patient discharge planning early and facilitates a smooth transition to the next point of service.

Ensures documentation is accurate and timely.

Assumes a leadership role and delegates effectively to support quality patient care.

Participates in ongoing improvement activities that contribute to quality patient care.

Actively engages in safety initiatives and completes relevant competencies in a timely manner.

Performs other duties as assigned.
