As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Specialist in Butner, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. This role is both armed and requires driving, allowing you to respond quickly to situations and support our caring, people-first culture. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and work with integrity as part of a reliable and innovative team.

What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to site protocols.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions or incidents.

Assist law enforcement or emergency response personnel as needed during incidents.

Document observations and activities during patrols and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Adhere to all company and site-specific policies and procedures while performing armed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements :

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
