Staff Operations Engineer- Level 4

Overview

The Staff Operations Engineer requires the candidate to support hardware and throughput analysis, layouts, as well as coordination of construction of new facilities or updating existing areas. Additional support includes span time reduction identification as applicable, and ramping to rate evaluation and support. Significant coordination with other functional areas including Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, Master Planning, Facilities, and more. Responsibilities include leading meetings, identifying opportunities for savings and overall product improvement, program schedule planning, manpower planning, hardware support, scheduling, and lean initiatives. The candidate must be able to effectively communicate at all levels of management via verbal and written correspondence, author documents to provide direction per command media requirements. Position involves limited travel. Strong Microsoft Suite skills are required.

Ability to Work Remotely

Part-time Remote Telework : The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $95,000 - $167,440. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. The salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope and responsibilities, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills, and market considerations when extending an offer.
