Team Red Dog is seeking an experienced Test Associate (Level 5) to join our Global Technology client's high-performing engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned software testing professional to contribute to cutting-edge Azure cloud technologies—specifically Azure File Sync, a hybrid service that synchronizes on-premises files with the Azure storage platform. If you have a strong background in testing, scripting, and cloud infrastructure , this long-term remote opportunity offers the chance to work with one of the world's leading tech innovators.

Top Required Skills (Must Haves) :

  • Software Testing (10+ years) : Hands-on experience designing, executing, and analyzing test cases to ensure product quality across multiple releases.
  • Server and Azure Technologies (10+ years) : Deep technical knowledge of server environments and familiarity with Azure cloud services, particularly Azure File Sync.
  • Scripting (10+ years) : Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation and testing scenarios.

Opportunity Overview :

This role offers the opportunity to work on Azure File Sync , a critical component of Microsoft's cloud ecosystem. You'll collaborate with a skilled engineering team managing multiple product lines, engage in end-to-end scenario validation, and support production deployments through EB2 pipelines. This is a long-term contract (client estimates a full 18 months) where you'll gain valuable exposure to Azure cloud services and cutting-edge hybrid technology environments.

How you will make an impact :

  • Participate in daily scrum meetings to track and discuss project progress and challenges.
  • Execute end-to-end scenario validations and testing activities for Azure File Sync.
  • Run and monitor pipelines, ensuring consistent deployment quality through EB2 pipelines.
  • Document detailed test plans, test scripts, and test results reports.
  • Analyze test results, identify patterns, and provide actionable recommendations for quality improvement.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by maintaining a learning and creative mindset.
  • The expertise you bring :

  • 10+ years of experience in software testing and validation.
  • Proven ability to write and maintain detailed test documentation.
  • Strong scripting experience in one or more languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of Azure and server technologies.
  • Associate's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities in a remote team environment.
