PSYCHIATRY, Outpatient Medical Director
- Typical day is a mix of new and established patients for med services including medication reviews
- Additionally, clinical supervision of mid-level providers
- Patient mix general population encompassing the full developmental lifespan with emphasis on teen and adult-aged individuals.
- Typical patient volume 3 established patients per hour, for new patients to med services, they currently allow an hour for the initial eval, with a maximum of two new patient evals a day. For transfers from one of the other med providers on staff, we allow a hour for the first appointment.
- The provider will have the support of the therapists, case managers, receptionist and medical assistant / nurse
- Patients will often have case management and other community-based services
- Substance Use disorder treatment (including MAT) is available.
