Job description$30k in initial RN degree assistance Weekend Differential Shift Differential for qualifying hours between 3pm-7am Weekend Option Days : WEO rates + weekend differential Weekend Option Nights : WEO rates + weekend differential + straight night shift differential New Increased Weekend Option Differential : $8.00 LPN Day-One comprehensive medical, dental & vision insurance Employer-Matched Retirement Funds Education : Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure. Experience : Can be new or experienced LPN Certifications : LPN-IV Certification must be previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire (range from upon hire to within 1 year) Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Physical requirements / demands : Position requires individuals to push, pull, and / or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties Surgical Trauma "3A" is a 33-bed unit, fast-paced med-surg telemetry unit which focuses on adult post- operative and trauma patients. Nurse patient ratios are : Days 5 : 1, Nights 6 : 1. On our unit we offer you the opportunity to develop excellent critical thinking skills as well as use a wide variety of clinical skills including : Reading and posting telemetry strips IV insertions Catheter, trach, and ostomy care Wound care Chest tube

Qualifications :
Licensure : Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements
