Job Title : ServiceNow Developer Intern

Location : Persistent Technology Inc.

Hours : 20 hours per week

Duration : 6 months

Compensation : $40 / hour

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated ServiceNow Developer Intern to join our team and support the development and enhancement of our ServiceNow platform. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing workflows using ServiceNow, with a focus on AI / ML integration. You will collaborate with our IT and business teams to implement innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize applications within the ServiceNow platform, including modules such as IT Asset Management (ITAM), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), and IT Service Management (ITSM).
  • Leverage AI / ML technologies, including NLP and agentic AI, to enhance automation and intelligent decision-making within the platform.
  • Assist in designing and implementing workflows, UI policies, client scripts, business rules, and integrations using ServiceNow best practices.
  • Work with REST / SOAP APIs to integrate ServiceNow with external systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization of ServiceNow applications.
  • Document development processes and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
  • Support user training and adoption efforts related to ServiceNow enhancements.

Qualifications

Required :

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of AI / ML concepts, with hands-on experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and agentic AI.
  • Experience with JavaScript, GlideScript, REST APIs, and web technologies.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

    • Preferred :

  • Experience with ITAM, SPM, and ITSM modules in ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and UI / UX development.
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) credential is a plus.
