About The Position

Position Purpose :

All KHI employees are expected to perform their respective tasks and duties in such a way that supports KHI’s

The incumbent shall be responsible for providing a full range of Occupational Therapy services including

assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent

with the position’s qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. With each patient encounter,

the incumbent shall use AIDET, perform hand hygiene, assists with positioning patient for comfort and pain

management, and performs environment check prior to leaving patient’s room and / or maintains a clean and

organized environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• ? Conduct an Occupational Therapy evaluation or screen.
• ? Develop an individualized Plan of Care with functional goals.
• ? Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• ? Evaluate patient response to treatment and modify plan as necessary
• ? Document the course of patient care including progress made and the continuing need for treatment.
• ? Provide patient and / or family education to help achieve goals.
• ? Adheres to KHI Attendance Policy.
• ? Communicates and demonstrates a professional image for patients, families, clients, coworkers, and

others.
