What you will do :
- Work with the Pavement Management System to identify the paving program over the planning horizon.
- Program projects in Ellis (Capital Program Management System) to account for the paving projects needed.
- Ensure the District Preservation Paving Program is Fiscally Constrained.
- Cost Estimation of pavement projects.
- Participate in Scope Meetings to provide guidance and direction.
- Perform Field Reviews.
- Coordination with County Operations and Construction to ensure questions / concerns are addressed.
- Lead the Urban Paving Program and Application process while working with the local communities of their needs.
- Plan & Permit Reviews to ensure standards and specs are met.
- Pavement Design for proposed projects and activities.
- Data analysis on historical trends, projections, and activities.

Bachelor's degree in engineering; valid certificate as Engineer-In-Training issued or accepted as equivalent by Ohio Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors; 2 yrs. engineering related experience.
Or Valid certificate as Engineer-In-Training issued or accepted as equivalent by Ohio Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors; 12 mos. exp. as Transportation Engineer 1, 85641.Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above may be substituted for the experience required, but not for the mandated registration.Job Skills : Civil Engineering
