Trust and Safety Operations is a pivotal team within . Data Security. We strive to enable TikTok to become the most trusted and secure platform in the US through operational excellence in content moderation via innovations in technology, optimization in processes and investment in people. We ensure that we enforce our policies based on our community guidelines and we take appropriate actions in a timely manner to minimize risks on our platform to our users and advertisers. Our Operations team performs a critical function that supports our efforts to address objectionable or disturbing content. Content that this team interacts with includes images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; and murder. It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content on a daily basis. In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time. Responsibilities - Employ sophisticated statistical modeling techniques for demand forecasting and resource allocation to optimize expenditure growth and investment allocation within the moderation workforce. - Conduct advanced data mining, regression analysis, and other statistical techniques to uncover valuable patterns and trends, fostering a deeper understanding of business dynamics. - Conduct experimentation to continuously refine and optimize moderation efficiency, leveraging data-driven insights to implement iterative improvements. - Architect and manage scalable, automated dashboards and reports to monitor and evaluate progress against critical operational performance metrics and strategic initiatives. - Lead the business review process, crafting executive-level presentations and facilitating performance meetings aimed at optimizing operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications - A bachelor's degree or higher in Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related subjects is preferred. - 3 to 5 years of experience in management, business process improvement, or analytical roles in content moderation or similar fields. Such as call centers and adverts moderation in tech companies. - Experience in data science programming languages (., SQL, Python) - Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines - Experience working with Business Insights tools, ., Tableau, Power BI, etc. - Proficiency in Excel & Google sheet - Ability to craft executive-ready narratives around complex business or operational topics and successfully influence VP+ decision making Preferred Qualifications - Strong experience conducting and evaluating A/B tests, ideally in Financial and/or Operational related fields and using Python for data extraction (APIs), ETL tasks, and automation - Knowledge of statistical analysis or data modeling techniques, including hypothesis testing, experiment design, and common regression and classification algorithms. - Experience in Customer Experience and Operations teams - Your ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role. - Your resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role.
