Key Responsibilities :

B2B Storytelling : Help craft compelling content that brings complex or niche topics to life in a way that captivates audiences and drives action. Whether it's brand content, bylined articles, case studies, video scripts, or social media copy, you're committed to becoming a master storyteller. S / he will work toward helping to turn even the most mundane topics into engaging stories that captivate target audiences and drive impactful business outcomes.

Strategic Contribution & Consultation Support : Assist in the delivery of PR plans, media training, key message development, and other strategic client services under the guidance of senior team members. Step into client conversations with confidence-offering ideas, asking smart questions, and supporting real-time counsel alongside senior leads. Assist in the development and presentation of new ideas to keep client campaigns fresh, effectively engaging, and newsworthy. Support the development of ideas that help evolve client PR programs-offering suggestions to make campaigns more digitally integrated, more compelling, and easier to measure. Contribute meaningful value to proposal development and presentations-offering ideas, and support with plan development.

Integrated Program Execution : Execute paid, owned, and earned media strategies as part of multi-channel campaigns. While working with senior team members to bring strategy to life. Understand and advocate for reputation and influence building activities. Build industry relationships (influencers and journalists) that bring enhanced value to clients and enhance their competitive differentiation. Uphold the quality of work and reputation they are known for.

Landscape Monitoring & Analysis : You will be responsible for monitoring and collecting insights on competitors and developing trends on a daily / weekly basis and packaging them into actionable recommendations for internal and external client teams. These insights power the strategy and direction of thier programs.

Media Relations : Support earned media outreach programs with a passion for media and a growing understanding of how to pitch. Whether it's building relationships with the media, drafting press releases or bylining articles on behalf of executive clients, you will become a trusted media contact over time.

Influencer Relations : Support influencer programs by :

  • Researching and identifying the right voices using tools like MuckRack, LinkedIn, and other resources
  • Nurturing influencers on social media
  • Developing customized email and phone outreach
  • Meeting with influencers on a regular basis to better understand their needs and focus
  • Negotiating paid influencer agreements, where applicable
  • Social Media : Social media is a top channel for building relationships that add value to their clients. You will be responsible for identifying relevant content for sharing on client social channels. This includes drafting social content for publishing with support.

    Sponsored Content Programs : You will be responsible for researching, identifying and coordinating opportunities for their clients to augment their earned and shared programs with paid or sponsored content.

    Measurement : Manage day-to-day tracking and reporting using tools such as MuckRack. Ensure media lists and contact records are up to date, reporting dashboards are accurate, and insights are clean and usable for internal and client teams.

    Program Collaboration : Partner closely with internal cross-functional teams (program strategist, account team and storytelling team) to ensure that their client programs are aligned to deliver on client objectives and exceed goals.

    At the end of the first year, success would mean you've contributed meaningfully to strong media results, grown your confidence and skills in securing placements, and started building trusted relationships that benefit client programs, as well as getting high marks from the internal team in your quarterly peer-feedback, and meeting or exceeding client goals for brand awareness, building influence and lead-gen.

    Required Skills :

  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Agency experience preferred.
  • Passion for PR and relationship development; experience working with manufacturing, technology and healthcare companies preferred.
  • Team player who is willing to wear multiple hats in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Self-starter who can deliver a stellar client experience and execute on a plan with minimal input from senior practitioners.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Keen ability to problem solve.
  • Highly accountable with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (PPT, Word, Excel)
  • Design skills (Photoshop, InDesign, Canva other visual content experience) are a plus.
