Johnson and Johnson Research & Development, LLC, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for Summer Internship Candidates within Clinical Supply Chain. These positions are located in Horsham, PA.

The Clinical Supply Chain organization, within Therapeutics Development and Supply, holds the responsibility of global clinical supplies of the Research & Development portfolio and the Global Medical Affairs portfolio. Our activities include all in-house and outsourced manufacturing of clinical supplies (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API), Drug Product, Packaged and Labeled Clinical Supplies), demand forecasting, supply planning, and global distribution of supplies. Through a global network and organization, we are responsible for the clinical supplies of Synthetics, Molecules and Bio Therapeutics and Advanced Therapies products in development and low volume commercial supply and secure the supply to more than 60,000 patients in more than 330 clinical trials every year.

The Summer Internship will provide you the opportunity to work in the pharmaceutical industry within Johnson and Johnson's R&D Clinical Supply Chain. This role provides a three-month assignment to become an integral part of the Clinical Supply Chain Team. You will work on projects that improve your leadership, problem solving capabilities, and project management skills. Interns will be exposed to the important work performed within CSC and you will be part of the mission to proudly deliver "Hope In a Box", to the patients we serve. Interns will be part of a structured intern / co-op program, which consists of cross functional interactions, visibility to upper management, final assignment presentations and networking opportunities.

What You Will Do

This is a full-time (40 hours per week) assignment running from Mid May to Early August 2026.

During your 12 week internship, you will :

  • Work on supply chain programs and projects in support of clinical medicines in development at J&J
  • Specific projects will be reflective of business needs as of Summer 2026
  • Gain experience and exposure to supply chain aspects of the R&D drug development process
  • Partner with other interns in CSC and other departments in J&J in building solutions for real-life supply chain challenges
  • Use creative problem-solving skills to develop new ideas and insights
  • Demonstrate your communication skills at final internship presentation

Role reports to- Each role will report to a single team leader responsible for the focus area / project of the internship.

Compensation - The pay rate is determined based on the grade level and location at time of offer.

Required Qualifications

  • As of May 2026, completion of Undergraduate Freshman, Sophomore or Junior year at an accredited University is required.
  • Candidates must be working towards a B.S. in Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems, or other Business or Technical related field.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher. Cumulative.
  • Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the future.
  • Helpful Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in Windows software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Proven analytical capabilities as indicated from course work and other initiatives
  • Demonstrated leadership in campus / community activities
  • Ability to work individually, as well as collaboratively, with curiosity and flexibility.
  • Possess a "can do" approach, and courage to speak your voice and suggest innovative ideas.
