- Norfolk, VA Clearance : Secret Position Type : Full-Time AERMOR is seeking a Logistician III to provide senior-level logistics and life-cycle support for complex defense systems, ensuring that acquisition, sustainment, and operational readiness objectives are achieved.
- The individual will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing logistics management processes and plans that support C4ISR and related systems throughout their entire life cycle.
- This role demands a seasoned professional with strong knowledge of defense logistics management principles, acquisition processes, and system sustainment planning.
This is not a remote position. Key Responsibilities :
Plan, analyze, and coordinate logistics activities throughout the system life cycle, from design and development through deployment and sustainment.Support the development and implementation of logistics management plans, processes, and guidelines in compliance with DoD standards.Conduct logistics analysis to identify cost, schedule, and performance impacts on system supportability and maintainability.Develop and maintain logistics documentation, including Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans, and maintenance concepts.Coordinate with engineering, program management, and supply chain teams to ensure logistics requirements are integrated into system design and production.Evaluate and manage supply chain activities, provisioning data, and maintenance support elements for electronic and C4ISR systems.Analyze engineering and systems management data to develop recommendations for improving readiness and reducing lifecycle costs.Support logistics readiness reviews, configuration management, and sustainment planning for deployed systems.Provide logistics input to acquisition strategies, test plans, and training materials.Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations to communicate logistics findings and recommendations to Government and program leadership.Minimum Qualifications :
Seven (7) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems.Experience in logistics management principles, practices, and processes supporting DoD or Navy programs.At least four (4) years of logistics support experience with C4ISR or similar systems, including :
Analyzing engineering or systems management data, developing logistics plans and procedures, developing logistics management plans and guidelines Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple logistics functions simultaneously.Proficiency with logistics and maintenance data systems, such as CDMD-OA, LMI tools, or similar applications.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Foundational / Level 2, or equivalent training and certification.Alternatively, a minimum of nine (9) years of experience in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics if certification is not held.Proven record of supporting life-cycle logistics for C4ISR, electronic, or defense systems programs.
