Thrift Store Cashier-Clerk-Sorter

Job Objective : Within store guidelines, sorts product and prepares items for sale and assists customers wi t h th eir purchases

Experience : Prior sales experience or working with people in services capacity preferred

Supervisor y Respons i b i lity : May supervise volunteers and community service workers.

Physical Requirements : I nclude s peaking, hearing and vision ability, an d excellent manual dexterity ; bending, squatting and walking ; ability to perform the duties of the lifting, pulling and pushing of merchandise up to 25 pounds; s itting up to 2-3 hours per day; stand ing up to 4-6 hours per day . Travel : May occasionally be asked to accompany Thrift Store driver on a pickup run
