Pediatric Hospitalist (or APP)

Job Details:

• Coverage needed for specific dates in November, including 11/27 (Thanksgiving Day 5p-5p), with ongoing needs

• Current locum provider averages 8 shifts per month

• Primary responsibilities include healthy newborn coverage

• Attend deliveries and provide in-house coverage of NICU patients at night with neonatology backup

• Handle occasional minor Pediatric ER consults

• Admit patients to the NICU overnight (with certain limitations)

• Must be certified in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation)

• No required procedures

• 24-hour shifts

• Connecticut license required

• Must have clean background for emergency privileges

• Must be available to work the 11/27 date

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
