POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales & Broker Relations Administrator is primarily responsible for the overall operational relationship with our Broker partners and serving as theSalesforce administrator for the Delta and Altus Sales teams. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of the needs of our Broker partners, advocating for these needs and balancing that with various internal stakeholders. This role also is responsible for creating broker assignments and commission schedules in Salesforceand for ensuring the accuracy of this data for use in monthly commission payments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for seamless correspondence with Brokers / Agencies across all lines of business; including, for example, monitoring and responding to Broker email correspondence
- Responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of broker assignments and commission schedule changes, including completion of Broker of Record Changes , address and EFT changes; Managers the broker acquisition process ensuring that all groups associated with acquired agencies are accurately reassigned.
- Responsible for sending, receiving and processing new broker appointment paperwork; Completes onboarding and initial training of brokers and agency staff onto the InsuranceMenu platform, producing reports and assisting in troubleshooting any issues experienced by Brokers / Agencies; Creates and maintains Broker / Agency permissions for access to web-based Commission statements
- Manages the sales support team to ensure their success and align their efforts with organizational goals and objectives.
- Create and execute various monthly and ad-hoc Salesforce reports for Management review
- Works with Compliance to ensure timely and successful completion of annual producer appointment verification reviews
- Oversee the coordination and planning of sales events
- Gain and leverage full understanding of business processes related to internal systems including but not limited to; Salesforce, HDS / SkyGen, InsuranceMenu, Responsive (proposal tool) and PowerBi; Trains sales team members on appropriate systems and keeps abreast of system upgrades / changes.
- Assists with the facilitation of the production of RFP’s and Bids, as needed
- Collaborates with sales support team members on department administrative tasks
- Manages the quality control process of our group file process / paperwork for the sales department
- Provides oversight of annual consumer mailings

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree : English and / or Communications preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skills5+ years’ experience in servicing large group medical / dental benefit plans preferredStrong experience in event management and planning; May be required to attend sales events and functionsExtensive experience in the operations of group benefits carriers with a working knowledge of group enrollment, billing, claims processing and customer service functionsAt a minimum, candidates must have a good understanding and experience of working in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and SalesforceDriver’s license is required#J-18808-Ljbffr
