Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and proficiency in cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an acute care teaching hospital on the cardiac catheterization team
  • Procedures include diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular interventions
  • Daily caseload per technologist ranges from 16 to 24 cases
  • Primarily focused on cardiovascular and vascular patient populations
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM
  • On-call required : 3 weekends per contract and one night per week
  • No floating to other units or sister facilities
  • Epic (Excellian) and MacLab / Cardiolab experience preferred
  • Scrubs are provided by the unit
  • Will consider first-time travelers
  • Position is open to local candidates
  • RTO requests should ideally not exceed 5 days
  • Must be able to participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and weeknights
  • Work in a Level 3 trauma teaching hospital
  • Parking available with rates based on shift and location
  • Pre-start modules required and must be completed before assignment begins
  • Travelers must have been gone at least 3 months if previously employed as staff or per diem
  • Fingerprinting required as part of the background check per state regulations

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • BLS certification required
  • ARRT certification required
  • Experience in scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating required
  • Experience with Epic (Excellian) and MacLab / Cardiolab preferred
  • License required if applicable
  • One supervisor reference required for consideration
