Job Purpose

This position is responsible for producing steel products for weldments.

• Operates vertical and horizontal CNC machines to include a boring mill.

Qualifications Guidelines

Experience / Training / Education :

Required : High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years' related experience.

Desired : 1-2 year vocational technology diploma / certificate and / or 2+ years' experience working in a machine shop.

Physical and Environmental Elements :

This is a production classification and employees work in a factory or warehouse environment with exposure to noise and machinery. The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat / cold, wet / humid, and dry / arid conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials. May be requested to work overtime and weekends.
