Groundperson

Job Title

Davey Tree Surgery Company is currently looking to add a dynamic utility groundperson to our passionate team of utility line clearance professionals. Your office is outdoors, and you get a new view every day!

Job Duties :

• Assist climbers, forepersons and other crew members who perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully for major electric utility providers
• Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more
• Direct road and sidewalk traffic as needed by use of warning devices and other methods
• Haul and chip brush and debris and blow saw dust, leaving the work site clean and tidy
