Benefits :Vascular Surgery private practice dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease. We operate an IAC accredited Vascular Lab and Vein Center, offering comprehensive vascular testing and patient care in a welcoming environment. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) to join our team.
Position Overview :
As an RVT, you will be an integral part of our patient care team, working primarily with venous ultrasounds and a full range of vascular testing. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to providing exceptional patient experience and is eager to contribute to our practice's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities :
Greet all patients warmly, ensuring correct identification and preparation for their ultrasound studies.
Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout their visit.
Document patient assessments promptly and accurately.
Perform and document high-quality vascular ultrasound studies, ensuring optimal standards for patient care.
Collaborate with the office manager regarding operational and facility issues, communicating proactively about any concerns.
Ensure accurate coding on all vascular studies, and coordinate with the billing department as necessary.
Maintain and ensure proper functioning of all ultrasound equipment, keeping up-to-date with system upgrades and features.
Travel to satellite offices as required (3 locations), with travel reimbursement provided.
Maintain RVT vascular testing certification and engage in ongoing professional development.
Represent the practice positively in all interactions with patients and the community.
Skills and Qualifications :
Excellent vascular testing skills, including experience with venous, carotid, and arterial studies.
Polite, professional, and positive demeanor when interacting with patients and colleagues.
Strong patient engagement skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality in all aspects of work.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks seamlessly.
Strong time management skills to ensure efficient workflow.
Education and Certifications :
Bachelors degree (preferred)
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (preferred)
Experience :
Minimum of 2-3 years in vascular testing
Preferred 3 years of sonography experience.
