Lifeguard (September - May)

Lifeguard Position

Under the direction of the Parks and Recreation Manager, Recreation Supervisors and Coordinators, this position enhances the quality of life for all residents and fosters individual and community in all aspects of physical, mental, social and environmental through recreational opportunities.

Seeking fun and energetic people to work in a safe and positive environment. Responsibilities include lifeguarding for pool parties, specialty swims, and swim lessons.

Fall, Winter, Spring :

• Shifts are weekday morning, afternoon and evening hours.
• Flexible schedule : work one day a week or multiple days.
• Program runs year-round.
• Fall session begins in September.
• Winter session begins in January.
• Spring session in March.
• Location Wayzata East Middle School Pool.
• Mandatory staff trainings are held monthly.
• Pre-season training takes place prior to program start dates.
