Summary / Objective : Promote the company mission statement by assisting Project Managers, Superintendents, and other personnel in estimating, managing, scheduling, purchasing, and executing various types of construction projects / services.

HarperXS is focused on executing construction projects within active water and wastewater facilities and occupied spaces. It is the expectation of HarperXS that candidates be experienced working within this industry. HarperXS fully expects candidates to be willing to comply with client requirements and educate themselves on the conditions and expectations of working within their facilities.

Essential Functions :

• Understand, support, and adhere to Harper safety and quality requirements. All employees are responsible for promoting a safety first culture including training, observations and corrections, and other support.
• Enforce Harpers safety and quality programs and correct violations as they arise on project sites. All work is to be planned and executed with safety and quality in mind.
• Represent Harper in a professional manner on job sites, meetings, trade shows, etc.
• Assist management staff with daily responsibilities and project duties as tasked such as attending and preparing for meetings, daily reporting, logging time and materials, budgeting assistance, and other assigned activities.
• Assist management staff with the development of proposals and / or estimates for future work.
• Adhere to systems, initiatives, near misses, mission statements, etc.
• Utilize Procore Management Software to its fullest extent for all phases of a construction project.
• Maintain project files, drawings, schedules in an organized and professional manner.
• Attend and participate in corporate, division, and project meetings.

Project Planning :

Compare submittals against project requirements.

Hold trade partners and suppliers accountable throughout the procurement process.

Work Environment : Typical office hours apply, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday. Hours may vary depending on demand. 80% Sitting, 20% standing or walking. Work from home can be negotiated on a case-by-case basis in accordance with corporate policies.

Travel Required : Travel requirements are based on project assignment. When assigned to a project outside your Primary Work Area or Geographical Work Area , you will follow the guidelines in our Travel Policy. There may be a business need for overnight stays when working on a project some distance from your assigned office. Valid US drivers license required.
