Fondomonte is seeking a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join our maintenance team. You'll be working on a variety of farm equipment - fabricating new components, repairing worn parts, and customizing machinery to meet the unique needs of our agricultural operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manufacture and fabricate finished metal productsInstall and repair various equipment and componentsWeld steel components with welding equipment as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructionsPerform welding & fabrication of heavy equipment parts and assemblies to meet established quality standards, production procedures and efficiency expectationsWork as part of a team, coordinating work and assisting in the fabrication or welding of multi-component partsWillingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned positionInspect equipment to maintain functional equipment if any equipment needs repairs, notify the supervisor / lead or maintenance departmentSafely operate forklifts, hoists, hand power tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related to the job's needsOther duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and / or assigned as necessary by the department or shift LeadHardfacing skid loader buckets and tillage equipmentMending seeders, spreaders and other machines that can break down in the fieldFollow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.Requirements
2+ years of welding / fabrication experience, preferably with agricultural or heavy equipmentProficiency in Stick / MIG / TIG welding and metalworking toolsAbility to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructionsFamiliarity with brands like John Deere and Caterpillar is a strong plusWelding certification is preferred but not requiredExcellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.Safely operate associated hand and power tools such as saws, grinders, measuring tools, etc.Mechanical aptitude with proficient shop math skills.Drug-free with an excellent record of attendance and punctuality.Outstanding attention to detailJob Context

Pay : $21.00 per hour with opportunity for growth
Schedule : M-Friday 6 : 00 - 4 : 00 and Saturday 1 / 2 day
