Overview
The Multitudes Project Manager will serve as a key operational leader for UCSF’s statewide initiative focused on early literacy and dyslexia screening, bridging neuroscience and public education. This full-time, fixed-term role (with potential for renewal) is responsible for managing complex project planning, coordinating across functional areas, and implementing technical solutions in partnership with the California Department of Education, UC campuses, public schools, and technology vendors. Reporting to the COO and collaborating closely with product, research, engineering, and outreach teams, the Project Manager will ensure timely delivery of project work, alignment with stakeholder goals, and long-term sustainability of the Multitudes platform. The role demands strong project management experience—ideally in education, healthcare, or academic environments—along with excellent operational skills and fluency in working with technical teams. Responsibilities include tracking milestones, managing vendor relationships, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring effective communication across a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic and evolving setting.
