Job Summary: Conduct specimen processing and testing, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Follow supervision guidelines as per state requirements. Prioritize timely processing. Maintain equipment regularly. Understand laboratory principles for accurate results. Follow quality control procedures for accreditation compliance. Adhere to department policies for testing quality and equipment maintenance.
Requirements:
* Associate's Degree in Medical Technology, Biomedical Science, Biology or Chemistry required
* 1 Year of Acute Care Microbiology Technician experience required.
* National Certification as a Medical Technician required
* State of Florida Technologist License is required Benefits:
