SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS (2) Self-Contained Classroom (Emotional Impairment Regulation) - LONG-TERM LEAVE REPLACEMENT December 2025 - January 2026 - Anticipated 4-6 weeks Hillside Elementary School - Grades 3-4 Must have both Elementary School Teacher and Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification OR Teacher of the Handicapped Certification Pay starting at $200 per day for the first 10 days, followed by a salary within the range of $56,500 to $76,000, depending on degree and post-degree credits at step zero. Position includes a comprehensive benefits package with single coverage for medical, prescription, and dental plans after 60 days. Middle School Self-Contained Classroom 2025-2026 School Year - Full-Time, Tenure-Track, Benefits-Eligible Tenakill Middle School - Grades 6-8 Must have both Elementary School Teacher and Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification OR Teacher of the Handicapped Certification Salary range for this position is $57,904 to $86,371, commensurate with degree and graduate credits as outlined in the negotiated salary guide.
