Digital Media Support Specialist - Onsite Only
Must have a minimum secret security clearance.
Qualifications
Shall have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in professional photography, videography or media arts
Proficient pre and post digital editing software, computer skills
Knowledge of MS Office, strong written and verbal communications
Excellent organization skills
Must possess own camera equipment and have a professional portfolio
Position Responsibilities
The Contractor shall provide specialized still photographic and videographic support for PFPA, operating advanced digital imaging camera systems and other associated equipment essential for high-quality visual documentation.
In an average year, the Contractor will take, process, edit and manage 20,800 photo and video files, ensuring that each content file meets agency and DoD standards.
The Contractor shall edit photos and videos for presentation as a final product to include all post-production processes necessary to create professional content.
The Contractor shall ensure all files are optimized for sharing across multiple channels while maintaining the integrity and purpose of content.
Each action will result in one deliverable report that may take up to one hour to complete.
The Contractor shall compose captions and short features for images intended for internal and external communication including social media posts, news articles or releases using photo newsgathering techniques.

The Contractor shall create image tags where appropriate (e.g. for websites) and ensure digital images and videos meet Operations Security (OPSEC) requirements.

The Contractor shall organize and manage PFPA digital imaging files in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) policy.
The Contractor shall create and manage a database of Corporate Communications Office’s (CCO) digital imagery including historic photographs.

The Contractor shall, upon request, take photographs or videos in support of planned exercises, trainings, or in response to an incident. These events will occur periodically, after business hours on a weekday or a weekend. Exercises and trainings will be scheduled events. Incidents will be rare occurrences; however, could take place at any time.
