Procurement coordinator

We're looking for a Procurement Coordinator here at our Perris food manufacturing facility who thrives on that very challenge. This full-time spot involves working closely with our General Manager and Production team, ensuring all our supplies - think ingredients, packaging, even PPE - are on hand so we can keep production running smoothly. Responsibilities

• Oversee the full purchase order lifecycle : creation, approval, tracking, delivery, and issue resolution.
• Verify order receipts; promptly report discrepancies, shortages, or damages to Operations and suppliers.
• Collaborate with Production and General Management to maintain optimal stock levels for planned production, utilizing MRP systems, daily counts, and initiating POs.
• Provide weekly and end-of-month inventory reports to Management.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure continuous material flow (ingredients, packaging).
• Partner with the General Manager to negotiate best pricing and volume discounts.
• Provide suppliers with forecast volumes to secure discounts.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals.
• Ensure timely receipt of all materials.
• Maintain constant communication with Production and General Management regarding stock requirements.
