The Buyer is responsible for the planning, organizing, and execution of tactical procurement activities, specifically purchasing critical components and commodities for production.

This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Strategic Sourcing Non-Metallics and is part of the Supply Chain & Logistics function located in Pensacola, Florida, United States and will be an on-site role.

What You Will Do :

• Place purchase orders with suppliers and leverage Daily Management to resolve short-term and systemic issues.
• Identify and implement countermeasures for supply chain disruptions. Gather and analyze data to problem solve to prevent reoccurrences and proactively communicate to relevant teams.
• Review and provide recommendations for kanban sizing parameters in accordance with Danaher Materials System (DMS)
• Collaborate and support sourcing team to work on supplier optimization ensuring organizational metrics are achieved
• Drive targeted, sustainable improvement in supplier OTD, Working Capital turns, Purchase Price Variance, and related KPIs / objectives by leveraging DBS tools, facilitation skills, and change management.
